Once fiber optic cables are installed and terminated the next stage is the testing process, this is without doubt the most important element as it ensures a project will be fully capable of supporting a business’s needs. Galaxia fiber optic specialists and technicians use standard compliant, yearly calibrated, hand held Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR) to test each fiber core. This process is carried out in both directions and at each wavelength.

All testing procedures are documented. At the end of each project, clients receive a CD-ROM; this document each and every trace. This resource is useful for future reference.
